Ok so this was originally a gif set but as you can see I just screenshotted it. If I can find the original somewhere deep in my tumblr then I'll post it. But either way this is everything <3 OMG YOU GUYS I'M SORRY I JUST REALIZED THAT THE SITE'S BIRTHDAY WAS ON THE 13. UGHH i THOUGHT i HAD LIKE ANOTHER WEEK BUT NO T-T. APPARENTLY I CREATED THIS SITE LAST YEAR, JUNE 13, 2013. UGHH TODAY IS THE 17TH. IDEK WHAT TO DO NOW :/
However, due to the fact that it's been a year, I'm thinking maybe it's about time I start making some money off of this site which was originally just for enjoyment. Idk yet tho, it's just an option, It might be a lot of work to bring revenue in from this site but we'll see. Until then I'll just keep posting like usual. Aw crap I missed the year and a day anniversary too. ugh. most of y'all don't know what that is but... that crap is important :( When the videogame plays the instrumental version of the main theme during an important scene When the videogame plays the main theme during the last boss fight. Final Chapter : (Name of Game)
I didn't even know there was a part 2. When this came on my pandora I nearly cried all over again like T-T No one was emotionally ready. I'm just trying to figure out how I missed this. Soooo are we gonna talk about divergent or nah?? Because that movie was absolutely everything and I mean ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. First off: Yes, I read the book, it was amazing. And that's what made this me movie so incredible, the fact that it matched the book damn near perfectly. Yes, there were some scenes that were cut or changed as they are in all movies, but this was the best I have seen so far in terms of how similar the movie was to the actual novel. But... I do have some complaints.
The scene where Edward's eye is stabbed out by Peter and the others was completely cut. This upset me because I feel like that scene was a precursor to the incident where they tried to kill Tris. Like that scene was a setup and It showed The real desperateness of the other initiates prior to the scene with Tris. After that the next thing that struck me was Tris's mother's death. The way she died wasn't totally wrong but kinda off. They showed it as her being shot once while running with Tris and they both ended up in the alleyway. In the book they had both made it to the alleyway then her mother went into the middle of the street as a a decoy and sacrificed herself and was shot dozens of times by the nearby soldiers. She watched the light leave her mother's eyes as she fell to the ground in a pool of blood. Tris had no time to scream, cry and hold, her body. There was no I love you and heart wrenching goodbye. But I can understand why they would have changed that scene for viewers emotionally considering most people wouldn't like to deal with her mother being slaughtered in cold blood right in front of her daughter's eyes with no goodbye, no nothing. So I get that, but from the standpoint of a reader, I would've greatly appreciated that aspect of her death. Next thing is even though it is very minescule, the scene where Tris gets stuck on the ferris wheel and Four has to spin it to get her down was cut. I'm not that upset over it considering it's not that important to the plot. It just would've added a little fluff y'know. I have more things to say but I think we'll make a part 2 for this so bye byee :) WARNING: THIS REALLY ALMOST MADE ME CRY T-T You are who you choose to be. Don’t let other people’s perception create your reality.
I need to watch this movie again. Side note: Vin Diesel voiced the Iron Giant. If you want to cry and have a bad time, watch The Iron Giant. Its like fox and the hound. After you see it, something inside you, something small and deep, will always be crying. forever. the crying gets louder if you are ever reminded of this film in any way. |
